A person who saw a man going under beach houses called the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office about 11:20 p.m. Sunday, which led to the arrest of a burglary suspect.
The caller told deputies they say the man hiding things in the bushes across from their home on South Waccamaw Drive. They said they also saw him riding a bicycle with items on the handle bars.
Deputies found some of the things he had hidden in the bushes and found they were stolen from a house on Dolphin Drive.
They arrested Christopher J. White, 42, of Myrtle Beach and charged him with Burglary.
Sheriff Lane Cribb said in a press release this is a great example of the success law enforcement can achieve when the public is aware of what is happening in their neighborhood and becomes involved with law enforcement.
