A husband and wife were killed in a shooting just after 1 p.m. Monday at a home on South Center Road just outside of Darlington.
Captain Andy Locklair says one person was found in the yard, the other in the house.
Coroner J. Todd Hardee identifies them as Oliver Stonecypher and his wife Alma Stonecypher.
A neighbor called 911 Monday afternoon when they heard the shots fired. When deputies got there, one person was dead. The other person was taken to the hospital.
Deputies are not releasing details on which victim was found where or who was transported to the hospital.
