Highway Patrol is investigating a second deadly crash in Dillon County, the third one in the Pee Dee area Wednesday.
The wreck happened around 1:43 p.m. on Highway 9 in Dillon County.
Lance Corporal Sonny Collins with Highway Patrol says the victim was driving a 2006 Chevy Impala south on Highway 9 when it collided with another car at an intersection. A 2001 Chevy Suburban was driving north on Highway 9 and attempting to make a left turn onto Cashua Ferry Road but failed to yield, resulting in the crash.
The name of the victim has not been released.
So far, no charges have been filed.
The incident remains under investigation.
