Despite several tornado warnings in Horry County Monday afternoon, there have been no confirmed reports of any tornadoes on the ground.

The primary concerns at this time are heavy amounts of rain causing flooding and potential hail.

Power is currently out in the Wampee and Red Hill communities. We are working to confirm communiites without power and how widespread it is.

Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski says the tornado threat appears to be going away, but there have been reports of hail between Red Hill and Homewood outside of Conway. That hail is reported to be about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.

If you have any pictures of flooding or hail in your area, please send them to yournews@wpde.com or post them on our Facebook wall.
