Officials with the Darlington County Clerk of Court Office say Warren Kelvin Smith, 47, was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday afternoon.
Court officials say he pleaded guilty to kidnapping, burglary, assault and battery, common law robbery, and petit larceny.
Last February, deputies arrested Smith after they say he lured an 83-year-old woman outside her home in the Oates Community of Darlington County.
Deputies say he told the woman he had found her purse and demanded money for finding it.
When the woman walked over to her car to make sure her purse was still there, officers say Smith assaulted her and pulled her inside her home to rob her.
Smith has to serve 85% of his 25-year prison sentence before he's eligible for parole.
