UPDATE
Horry County police officers are investigating a shooting that happened on Durham Lane in Loris Wednesday morning.
Sgt. Robert Kegler says the 54-year-old victim was shot several times in the lower body area.
Police say the victim was walking on Durham Lane when two men he didn't know approached him. One put a gun to his head and when he tried to get away, the other shot him in the hip, thigh and foot.
The victim was able to make it back to his house.
He was taken to the hospital.
Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating the shooting and looking for the suspect.
