Don't be alarmed if you hear sirens near the Robinson Nuclear plant Tuesday.
Progress Energy is testing its sirens, as it does every three months.
The sirens can be heard for about a ten mile radius from the plant.
The test is scheduled between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The sirens will sound for about 15 seconds.
If it were a real emergency, you should tune to radio and television emergency alert system information. The EAS will not be activated for the test.
