Horry County police charged a Myrtle Beach woman with the murder of her ex-boyfriend on Saturday, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.
Vivian Lynn Schrader-Falls, 51, is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Kegler said police responded to a reported shooting at an address on Bay Forge Road around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler identified the victim as Tony Marvin Hughes, 46, of Marion County. According to Fowler, he died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center from gunshot wounds.
No bail has been set for Schrader-Falls.
