Myrtle Waves in Myrtle Beach held a job fair Monday afternoon, hoping to fill the 150 seasonal employee positions available.

Myrtle waves is looking to hire lifeguards, people to work in admission, and supervisors.

They expected 700 people to show and say the applicants were a bit different this year.

"Normally, when we're filling positions at myrtle waves, its usually the teens that come out, high schoolers, college aged team members, but this year, we're seeing a mix, it's a little big of both. You have teenagers plus adults, " says Lakeisha Dukes of Myrtle Waves.

Candidates can apply online here

Myrtle Waves is owned by PARC Management, LLC. It is scheduled to open on May 19th.
