Firefighters respond to attic fire in North Myrtle Beach

Around 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning, North Myrtle Beach firefighters responded to an attic fire at 1008 Mt. Vernon Drive in Cherry Grove.

No one was living at the home, and no injuries were reported.

Fire Chief Tom Barstow said the cause is under investigation.
