A Myrtle Beach call center will soon be the largest in Horry County.
Coastal Com currently employs 40 people at its building on Oak Street, but thanks to a recent business opportunity, the company plans to hire 50 additional sales representatives this summer.
"That new opportunity is with a company called 1&1 out of Germany. What we're doing is offering small business customers a tool that helps them build a website for their business," Coastal Com President Scott Bittner said.
Coastal Com's inside sales team reaches out to small businesses nationwide, selling everything from telecommunications with companies like AT&T, down to its newest client, 1&1.
"We're looking for employees who have good communication skills, good PC skills and some type of relevant sales experience," Bittner added.
1&1's Head of International Sales said the decision to work with Coastal Com in Myrtle Beach was easy, considering the company's strong track record. "We test call centers all over the country and Coastal Com has proven to be very effective, so I'm happy to continue working with them and building up employees here," Tillmann Schwabe said.
Coastal Com plans to fill the 50 positions by June. For information on how to apply, click here.
