(AP) -- It's unlikely the former Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach will reopen this summer.

That's the thought of a consultant who says time is running short to find a new owner who can rebrand the park and get it open for the upcoming tourist season.

Tom Hiles tells The Sun News of Myrtle Beach that the possibility of reopening the park  this year is remote at best. The park has been closed two-and-a-half years

The mortgage holder that reclaimed the park through a foreclosure auction is looking for a buyer. Attorney Franklin Daniels representing the mortgage holder says the park could work with the right operator.

The park became Freestyle Music Park after the original owners operating it as Hard Rock Park ran into financial problems in 2008.
