A cold front and area of low pressure will pass by the Carolinas today and tonight then push away by daybreak Wednesday. Mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few showers will be around today but the clouds will be breaking late tonight. We'll remain cool today, but warmer than yesterday, with highs in the mid 50s. Weak high pressure will move in for Wednesday bringing back the sunshine and highs around 60. Another weak cold front will pass by late Thursday with the chance for scattered rain. This front is forecast to stall just to the Southeast of our area and models are forecasting a low to develop along the front. Where the low goes is still quite uncertain at this point. We'll see more clouds over the weekend and the chance for showers will be possible late Saturday into Sunday, but Myrtle Beach Marathon runners should remain dry.
