Pedestrian killed on Highway 501 in Conway

A pedestrian was killed on Highway 501 in Conway around 6:30 Wednesday evening.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says Leland Thibodeau was hit by a car as he crossed the highway near Savannah Bluff Road.

Edge says charges likely won't be filed against the driver of the car.
