HORRY COUNTY -- Horry County police released the names of the four people arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with a rolling meth lab  found in a car outside of Kohls.

Joseph Brooks, Trevor Giebell, Lauren James and Ashley McGill were officially charged Friday.

Horry County police Sgt. Robert Kegler says officers responded to Kohl's Department Store Thursday in reference to a shoplifting complaint.

Employees of the store told police they recognized two women in the store as suspects who had stolen from the store a few days earlier.

Police learned two men were waiting for the women in a car outside the store.

Sgt. Kegler says a search of the vehicle showed components that could be used in the manufacturing of Crystal Methamphetamine.

Detectives with the Horry County Police Department's Narcotics and Vice Section and a Lab Tech from North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety responded to the scene to take over the investigation.

Sgt. Kegler says further investigation of the vehicle turned up remnants of an old meth cook, finished product, and components for an additional cook.

The suspects are charged as follows:

Joseph Robert Brooks, 33 of Murrells Inlet, is charged with Obtaining Goods by False Pretenses, Receiving Stolen Goods, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Trevor Casey Giebell, 28, of Columbus, North Carolina, is charged with Shoplifting, Giving False Information to Law Enforcement, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Lauren Ashley James, 25, of Cowpens, is charged with Shoplifting (2 counts), Giving False Information to Law Enforcement, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Ashley Marie McGill, 25, of Travelers Rest, is charged with Shoplifting (2 counts) and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
