Monday smoke advisory causes Hwy 17 traffic headaches

Heavy smoke is causing traffic hazards on U.S. Highway 17 south at the Charleston/Georgetown County line.

Traffic will be moving very slowly through that area Monday morning because of heavy smoke.

Officials with South Carolina Highway Patrol are advising drivers to use extreme caution.
