Ryan Douglass Roszel, 21, of North Myrtle Beach is charged with felony DUI involving death and felony DUI with great bodily injury after a wreck just after 10 p.m. Saturday night that left one person dead.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, Roszel was driving the car on Highway 90 that hit a ditch and a light pole.
A passenger in the car, Gail Lynch, 34, was thrown out of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger was hurt. That person's condition has not been released.
Bond has not been set for Roszel.
