A teenage boy is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Myrtle Beach.
Horry County Police Lt. Keith Strickland says it happened at 9:30 p.m. at 1665 Racepath Street, which is located near U.S. 501 and Robert Grissom Parkway.
Joseph Jolly Jr., 18, of Myrtle Beach died as a result of a shooting, said Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
Fowler said Jolly was shot in the back and suffered massive hemorrhaging.
"It hit his organs and he bled out," Fowler told NewsChannel 15 Sunday.
Jolly was transferred to Grand Stand Regional Medical Center where he was pronounce dead at 10:18 p.m., he added.
Lt. Keith Strickland says they have a person of interest in custody that they are questioning.
