Darlington County teachers put their administrators and lawmakers in the hot seat Friday at an education forum.
The teachers wanted to know the districts policy on social media.
Administrators advised them to be careful what they say and who they communicate with, especially on Facebook.
During the forum, the district recognized Darlington's own Orlando Hudson. Hudson plays for the San Diego Padres.
They presented him with the Jimmy Newsom signature award for his contributions to the district.
"It's a great it's definitely a great honor for them to even think about me. They nominated me to get this award and now that I have the award it's just great," says Hudson.
Jimmy Newsome was a long time superintendent of the Darlington County School District.
