Kono Asian Grill in Myrtle Beach went all American Thursday in the spirit of Thanksgiving.

The restaurant cooked 15 turkeys, sweet potatoes, green beans and lots of other dishes for whoever wanted to eat with them.

The staff says they've been fortunate and wanted to share with others, no matter their situation.

John Bosignor with Kono says, "we want to up with their spirits and show them that they have friends here in Myrtle Beach that want to help them. They're extending their hand of welcome to them and of thanksgiving as well."

Kono has been serving the Thanksgiving meal since it opened four years ago.

The restaurant expected to serve about 125 people this year, but one year had as many as 370.
