NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- Work on the Barefoot Swing Bridge in North Myrtle Beach started Monday. Contractors are getting the bridge ready for painting.
At least one lane is expected to stay open for traffic.
On November 28th, the bridge will close to traffic for up to 49 days while crews complete the painting.
