Two incumbents are the unofficial winners of Tuesday's city council election in Georgetown, but the race for the third seat is too close to call, coming down to just one vote.
Incumbent Clarence Smalls and incumbent Peggy Wayne were re-elected, while incumbent Rudolph Bradley has one vote less than challenger Carol Jayroe. Jayroe has 678 votes, and Bradley has 677 votes.
There are five challenged ballots in this race that could determine the outcome, so we'll have to wait until the results are certified Thursday to find out the winner.
