Voters casting ballots in healthcare referendum

People in northern Horry County have a chance to vote on whether to allow McLeod Health to take over the local hospitals.

The referendum asks if voters if they support transferring the assets and and properties of Seacoast Medical Center and Loris Community Hospital to the McLeod system.

Green Sea, Floyds, Simpson Creek, Little River, and parts of Dogwood Neck and Bayboro can vote on this issue today.
