As part of the National Prescription Take Back Initiative, police hope to stop prescription drugs from getting into the hands of criminals and children.

If you have unwanted or unused prescriptions, the Grand Strand and Pee Dee are providing locations for people to drop them off.

The medicine can be dropped off at the Wal-Greens on South Governor Williams Highway in Darlington and the Wal-Greens at 1601 Church Street in Conway between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

You can also find drop off locations in your area here.
