State Republican Party Chairman Chad Connelly announced Tuesday there will be a republican presidential debate at Wofford College in Spartanburg on November 12.

Connelly made the announcement during a presidential preference primary meeting at the Floyd Conference Center at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence. He said the debate will be televised by CBS.

Connelly also announced the Myrtle Beach debate will be held January 16 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. He says he has a weekend full of activities planned in Myrtle Beach around the debate.

He plans to hold a news conference next week in Myrtle Beach on the January 16 debate.
