A 35-year-old man died after being shot Friday night in Kingstree.
According to Chief Robert Boyd the shooting happened near the IGA on Main Street.
Williamsburg County Coroner Harrison McKnight says the victim, Donnie McKnight of Kingstree, was shot once.
The coroner says McKnight died at Williamsburg Regional Hospital just before 10 p.m.
Kingstree Police have a suspect in custody. Charges are expected on Monday.
