NewsChannel 15 has obtained the dash cam video from a crash involving a state trooper during a high speed chase. The trooper's car caught fire. Click here to see the video NewsChannel 15 shot that night on the scene.

The chase started about 11:30 pm on October 3rd on Highway 501 near Carolina Forest Boulevard when the trooper pulled over the driver for a traffic stop.

Police say the chase reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

When they approached East Cox Ferry Road, the trooper's car spun out, collided with the suspect, and his car caught fire.

The suspect kept going, but was stopped by Horry County Police using stop sticks miles down the road.

No one was seriously hurt.

The driver, Allen Goodman, of Troy, NC is charged with DUI, driving under suspension, hit and run, and failure to stop for a blue light. He's out on bond.
