Dry air continues to wrap around the remant Low of once Tropical Storm Lee that remains to our North. This will keep the sunshine and lower humidity around into the weekend. Highs will remain in the mid 80s and temps will drop overnight into the mid and lower 60s. Even a few Inland locations that are typically cooler will see upper 50s for lows.
Hurricane Katia will pass well off of the East Coast and back out to sea over the next 2 days. Expect a high risk of rip currents through Friday. Tropical Storm Nate also formed yesterday in the Gulf of Mexico and is lingering around the Bay of Campeche. In the Atlantic we are also tracking Tropical Storm Maria. Maria is forecast to slowly strengthen and head toward the Bahamas over the weekend. We'll be monitoring this system closely as is may pass near the East Coast.
