The U.S. Coast Guard has called off the search for an overdue boater in Murrells Inlet. The Coast Guard says he was found at an area marina and is okay.

Wayne Miller, 52, left from Crazy Sister Marina in Murrells Inlet on Thursday at 4:30 a.m. He was on a 16-foot camouflage john boat. When he didn't return at noon as expected, his wife contacted the Coast Guard.

Rescue crews from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Georgetown searched for him on the water and with a helicopter flying above the inlet.
