Man arrested in disappearance of juvenile girl

HORRY COUNTY -- Horry County police say around 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon they found a juvenile girl who had been missing since Sunday. 

She was found near Highway 22 and Robert Edge Parkway in North Myrtle Beach.

15 minutes after they found the girl, police arrested Danny Dewayne Hardee, 25, of Conway, in connection with her disappearance. Hardee was arrested in the parking lot of the Hardee's fast food restaurant at Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach. Charges are pending.

Horry County has placed the girl in Emergency Protective Custody.
