Dillon County Deputies arrested a man wanted in connection with a Latta home invasion following a twelve hour overnight search.

Deputies say the man was armed when he broke into a home near Cattle Farm Road Wednesday afternoon.

They say someone was inside the home when the man stole jewelry and electronics. No injuries were reported.

State Police used a helicopter and a dog team to track the man down.

The Dillon County Sheriff's Department has not released the mans name, but said he is in custody.

Additional information is expected to be released Thursday afternoon, including the man's identity.
