VARNVILLE -- The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Varnville Police Department are looking for the man who shot a truck driver and stole his truck last Friday.

The truck driver survived.

The truck is described as a 2010 white F-150 pick up with HSE Engineering written on the cab doors. Inside the truck was a Troxler 3411B soil moisture density gauge, which SLED says is harmful if tampered with.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'5" - 5'7" with a skinny build and a dark complexion. He was wearing white shorts, a white T-shirt and a ball cap.

If you recognize the man in the sketch, call 803-896-7133 or 800-768-5463.
