COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Power crews are working to restore service to more than 22,000 customers in South Carolina, mostly in the Columbia area.

Thunderstorms continued to move across South Carolina on Friday morning.

Storms that moved through the Columbia area Thursday night damaged the Governor's Mansion. A sport utility vehicle belonging to Gov. Nikki Haley's husband was crushed when a tree fell at the mansion. Haley told WLTX-TV that two exterior doors and a gate were damaged. No one was hurt.

South Carolina Electric & Gas Co. reported nearly 13,000 customers without service in Richland County on Friday morning.

About 9,000 customers were without service in Lexington County.

Duke Energy reported about 100 customers without service in Spartanburg County and nearly 100 without electricity in York County.
