A management team has been named for the proposed Pat Boone Family Theater in Myrtle Beach, though it's unclear if or when the theater will open.
A press release from Southern Spin Entertainment says gospel music artist Rod Burton and his wife Kelly have been hired to manage the theater.
The release says the "newly renovated Pat Boone Theater" will open later this summer in the former NASCAR Cafe.
But it doesn't appear that any work has been done on the building so far and a sign in front says the former restaurant is available for lease.
A spokesperson for Burroughs and Chapin, which owns the building, says the company does not comment on pending leases.
