Horry County police have charged Samuel Leigh Wall, 51, with attempted murder after they say he shot his wife in the torso.
Police were called around 6:30 Thursday night to the couple's home on Bessent Avenue in Little River.
The woman was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where she is in stable condition.
Police say Wall and his wife were arguing over domestic issues, when Wall took out the gun and shot her.
