(AP) -- A Washington-based liberal advocacy group is running a new television ad taking U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham to task over comments about changing the Social Security retirement age.

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee said Friday it is airing an ad in Charleston and the Washington, D.C., area starting this weekend through President Barack Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday.

The 30-second spot features a library worker whose hands are numb because of a rotator cuff injury. The woman says she is 59 years old and is just trying to work until she can retire at age 62.

On NBC's "Meet the Press" on Jan. 2, Graham mentioned adjusting the Social Security age as among possible reforms to deal with the country's long-term debt.
