On January 11, 2010, the Suggs family of Horry County received a knock on the door that changed their lives forever.   It was Ty Pennington and the Extreme Makeover Home Edition team there to build them a new house in a week.

On January 11, 2011, another deserving South Carolina family will get a knock on the door of their own. And once again, it can't be done without the help of thousands of volunteers. Although the show's producers have revealed that the next build will be in Beaufort County, the family's identity has not been released. The family won't find out they've been chosen until Ty and the design team knock on their door next Tuesday.

EMHE is in need of construction workers for the build, specifically framers and siding installers.
