Firefighters risk their lives to save others. Being physically fit can mean the difference between their own life and death.

For the past 3 months, NewsChannel 15 Photojournalist Whitney Gramling has followed "Team Horry," a group of Horry County firefighters pushing the limits of fitness by training for and competing in the "Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge."

The team recently won the first place in the Regional Firefighter Combat Challenge in Lexington, Kentucky, and now they're ready to take on the World Competition in Myrtle Beach next week.
