Florence man indicted on pornography charges

46-year-old Gary Cook Dixon of Florence is charged with 2 counts of knowingly transporting and shipping child pornography in interstate commerce.

The indictments were announced by The United State's Attorney's Office in Columbia today.

According to U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles, Dixon could receive a fine of $250,000 and/or 20 years in prison.

The case was investigated by the FBI.
