Trial of Florence County man accused of Lake City murder scheduled

A Florence County man will be tried next month for a killing in Lake City.

Officials at the 12th Circuit Solicitor's office tell us 33-year-old Kevin Burgess shot and killed Frederick Scriven last April.

It happened at a mobile home park on Morris Street in Lake City.

Burgess will stand trial on October 18th.
