The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has asked for the FBI to look into the case of a woman arrested after taking "provocative" pictures of a seven-year-old girl.

Sheriff Lane Cribb said Saturday that his department requested the feds to review the case just to "make sure something more broad isn't going on."

Over the Labor Day weekend, deputies arrested Teresa Brown of Boiling Springs and charged her with unlawful neglect of a child.

A beachgoer called police after they noticed Brown taking inappropriate pictures of the little girl.

When deputies arrived to the location on North Litchfield Beach, they noticed the woman taking pictures of the child with a bare buttocks and bending over a chair.

Deputies report that they found other pictures on the woman's camera, but the woman said she was taking a photography class and that the little girl was a super model.

Brown posted a $10,000 bail and was released from jail last week.
