(AP) -- As Independence Day approaches, an advocacy group is releasing a report on the state of three Revolutionary War parks in South Carolina.
The report is being released Tuesday by the National Parks Conservation Association.
The Association is a nonprofit group that supports the nation's national parks and works to educate lawmakers and the public about the importance of those parks.
The report includes assessments of three South Carolina sites: Kings Mountain National Military Park, the Cowpens National Battlefield and the Ninety Six Historic Site.
