People who live along the Grand Strand have the opportunity to give input on how road projects should be prioritized for funding for the next five years.
Wednesday, the Grand Strand Area Transportation Study or GSATS held public meetings in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.
The group presented information on changes made to the transportation improvement plan and took questions and comments.
Mark Hoeweler with the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments says the group wants public input. He says, "With our limited budget, trying to spread our money around the region and get the most benefit for our limited amount of dollars."
There are two more public hearings before the committee meets Friday to discuss the changes.
Both hearings are Thursday.
The first is at 10 a.m. at the Horry County Government and Justice Center in Conway.
The second is at 2 p.m. at the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments in Georgetown.
