SBA is in Darlington helping tornado victims

The Small Business Administration is in Darlington for the next few days helping tornado victims.

The SBA is set up at Mayo High School on Chestnut Street.

They tell us 20 people came in Thursday to apply for loans to help in tornado recovery.

On April 25th, a tornado damaged and destroyed scores of homes, schools, and businesses in Darlington County.

The SBA's center will be located in the following community and will open as indicated:

Darlington County

Mayo High School for Math, Science & Technology

405 Chestnut Street

Darlington, SC 29532

Saturday, May 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Closed: Sunday, May 23

Open: Monday, May 24 - Thursday, May 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Closes: Thursday, May 27 at the close of business
