The first fatality on the Grand Strand of the 2010 Harley Bike Week happened late Thursday afternoon.
The Horry County Coroner's Office says a man died in a crash on Highway 17 Bypass.
The wreck happened about 5:00 p.m. in front of the Airport Diner between Myrtle Beach International Airport and the back gate of the former Air Force Base.
A car and a motorcycle were involved.
The coroner's office says James Marlowe, 28, of Ocala Florida was the biker who died in the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
