Tuesday, friends, co-workers, and family said goodbye to a public servant in Marlboro County. 53-year-old Dennis Miller died this past weekend from a heart attack.

He was Bennettsville's recreation director for several years and he was president of the Marlboro County Booster Club.

Monday night, the school board voted to name the Marlboro County High School football field in Miller's honor.

Miller is described by many as a man who gave his heart to helping the people of Marlboro County.
