Horry County police arrested a man accused of holding up the Waccamaw Bank off Singleton Ridge Road near Conway Medical Center.
Investigators say they were called to the bank around 11:50am.
When they arrived, they learned a man had entered the bank, showed a gun and demanded money from the tellers.
Police say he took an undisclosed amount and ran from the bank.
Horry County Police Sgt. Robert Kegler says the man was taken into custody in Carolina Forest near the closed Piggly Wiggly.
