Today will be our transition day from the pleasant, sunny weather we had Wednesday to the soaking rain expected tomorrow. High clouds will gradually thicken and lower as we head into the afternoon. Cloudy skies will limit our temperatures from breaking the upper 40s Inland and lower 50s across the Grand Strand. Dry weather is still expected today, but a chilly breeze will be around....
Overnight cloud cover will remain thick and showers will move in as we head toward daybreak. Temperatures will slowly slide into the lower 40s as our winds continue to pick up and the becomes steadier.
As an area of low pressure works its way into the Southeast, expect rain to gradually spread across the area during your Friday and increase in intensity at times as we head into Friday afternoon. Locally heavy rain can be expected periodically with 1-2 inches of rain possible. Temps will max out in the low to mid 50s.
