Tuesday, the City of Myrtle Beach's newly elected public officials took office.
Incumbents - Mayor John Rhodes and City Councilmen Randall Wallace and Wayne Gray, as well as newcomer Mike Lowder will all took their oaths.
The ceremony will be followed by a city council meeting.
