A center that provides a place to call home for abused, abandoned, and/or neglected teenage boys is holding a Christmas party for them at this hour.
Earlier Monday at the Waccamaw Youth Center, there was a gift wrapping party.
All the gifts were donated for the boys who are ages 12 to 21 and are in foster care as a result of abuse.
The center needs to raise $25,000 by the end of the year to close a budgetary gap, and they're also fundraising for next year.
If 2% of Horry County's population gave just $10.00 each, that $50,000 would keep the center going for one month next year.
